Jaye on Truth...

Hunger goes beyond desire.  Hunger for truth it is a longing, a yearning...Just as powerful as being hungry for food.  Those who sincerely want to know more, to grow more, are driven by  their passion for truth.  A disciple is much more than a student or   apprentice.  A disciple is not satisfied with knowing more.  A disciple wants to know it all, to experience it all.  Hunger disciples longing for truth makes them willing learners, eager followers, with an insatiable hunger for knowledge that is aggressive pursuing and relentless, these disciples are energized by their appetite and eagerly enlist others to search for truth with them.  When you loose your appetite for truth, when you stop being hungry for God, then you become comfortable and lay, Hunger is a quality that is central to what  a disciple is.  (John 6:25-35)
