T.E.A.M.S. (Talented Everlasting Anointed Men & Sisters)

The secondary level of participation of GND is through involvement with T.E.A.M.S., an athletic mentoring program that seeks to incorporate Biblical principles and athleticism for young men and women, ages 12-18.  T.E.A.M.S. is based from a series of scriptures: Matthew 25:12, Psalm 119:142, Isaiah 61:1, and Romans 14:19.  These scriptures encompass the missiosn, which is to help young people to understand their roles as team players in the body of Christ.  The T.E.A.M.S. vision is to equip these young men and women with knowledge and confidence as Christian athletes to help reconnect families and the community.

The participants of T.E.A.M., now dedicated members of GND, will participate in bi-weekly Bible studies and structured basketball practices.  The Bible study will focus on the ideas of Jesus as the ultimate coach, teaching principles of being Christian role models, and providing concrete knowledge on strengthening one's personal relationship with Christ.
