Programs of God’s Next Disciples (GND):

Real Talk, Real Issues:

This segment of GND will serve as an outreach ministry for young men and women, ages 12-25. GND staff will be hitting the streets, meeting people where they are, and sharing the message of Christ. Some targeted areas to seek individuals for witness are local streets, businesses, shopping malls, youth correctional facilities and jails. The individuals that are reached through the efforts of GND’s Real Talk, Real Issues will be invited to attend regular Bible studies and other hands-on programs.

Bi-annually there will be a 2-3 day conference geared toward presenting real life topics and issues that face youth. The seminars and workshops within the conference will provide a Biblical perspective on coping with, solving, and avoiding such issues. The conference will be facilitated by the staff of GND, Y.E.S!, T.E.A.M, as well as a dynamic selection of guest speakers comprised of pastors, ministers, experts, and motivational speakers across the nation. Below an example of possible workshop topics are:

Phase 1:

?   Issues on Sex
?   Issues on Drugs
?   The Fatherless Society
?   Homelessness
?   Learning About Respect
?   Identifying the Negative in Your Life

Phase 2:

?   Knowing God
?   Your Purpose
?   Chosen or Called
?   Welcome Holy Spirit

After continuous exposure to Bible studies, seminars and workshops, members of Real Talk, Real Issues will have a stronger foundation for building a relationship with God and the motivation to change their mindsets, habits, and social environments.
